James F. Macy

In 1850, James Macy was 17, and lived with his family in Nantucket. His father Charles was listed as a cooper, older brothers were listed as mariners, and James was listed as a carpenter. James married Cynthia Clark of New Bedford in 1855; neither appears in the 1860 census.

James Macy was reported lost at sea in July 1861. He did not serve in the Civil War.
